James and Puddy

Oh, James and Puddy… You two are truly wonderful. Eclectic? Yes. Good fun? Absolutely! Totally head over heels for one another? You betcha.

I travelled to Tisbury, Wiltshire for James and Puds big day.

I really had trouble keeping the images to a minimum for my blog so a gentle warning that this is quite a long one :)

The day started at The Boot Inn where the troop set up for the reception. The owners and staff were amazing, worked so hard all day and the food was perfect. The marquee looked amazing with hay bales as seats and fake grass – what a genius idea.

It was then off to get the ladies hair done, then I whizzed off to capture the boys getting suited and booted down the road at The Beckford Inn. I must make a special mention to Peter, the Budgie. ;)

Pud and her ladies were getting ready at her friends house so I made my way back there to witness the craziness.

Then to the beautiful Old Wardour Castle for the ceremony. Man, this was stunning. Such a wonderful setting for a wedding, I would highly recommend it.

Then back to the Boot Inn for food, dancing and Batala! These guys were outstanding. You can check them out here.
This was Pud’s surprise for James and the guests. They were LOUD but wow, they are good. I cannot do them justice in my words or photos, you need to experience it for yourselves.

Instead of a first dance they performed a song by Fleetwood Mac which Pud had learned on the Bass guitar especially.

Anyway, that is enough from me, thank you for having me, it was an honour to capture your day and it was one I certainly won’t forget.

Enjoy xx

Neil Leacy - What a great story book of the day. Well done for capturing so many moments, Katy.
